<#> is a New York-based musician, performance artist, producer, and founder of 185668232 inc., creating a genre-defying form of post-pop noise and glitch music built around one central idea: Normalize Universalism.

Blending live electronic production, experimental performance, improvisation, visual media, and socially conscious songwriting, <#> turns personal experience and systemic absurdity into immersive performances that refuse to stay inside conventional genre boundaries. The work moves between noise, pop, electronic music, performance art, and audiovisual experimentation, treating the stage as both instrument and communication system.

Rather than separating music from activism, <#> uses music as a way to explore housing, disability, technology, inequality, cultural division, human rights, mental hygiene, and the strange machinery of modern society. The goal is not simply to tell people what to think, but to create experiences that make radically different people capable of occupying the same space, listening to the same thing, and recognizing their shared humanity.

The live approach is intentionally immediate and technology-driven, incorporating tools such as Ableton, Akai MPC, live looping, electronic instruments, projection, glitch visuals, and improvisation. Performances can shift from carefully constructed compositions into unpredictable audiovisual environments where mistakes, accidents, repetition, and noise become part of the music itself.
At the center of the project is Universalism: the belief that human dignity, housing, healthcare, nutrition, education, utilities, transportation, and opportunity should not depend on whether someone happens to fit comfortably into the systems society has already built.
