About the event
Glitch became an English American word with thanks to John Glenn in his 1962 book, ORBIT. The origins of the glitch aesthetic can be traced to the early 20th century with Luigi Russolo's Futurist manifesto L'arte dei rumori (The Art of Noises, the basis of noise music, published in 1913).
On Saturday, November 9, 2024, MAKS, Robot X 9000, 185668232, all three will be performing live glitch / noise post-pop music + VFX/VJ projection mapping (sponsored by Resolume), simultaneously, outside, on battery powered generator for PA speaker & video projector at Straus Square, Manhattan, New York at 4pm est. Watch as we build a beat out of the world around you, reveal prophecies from the universal circuit.
We will try to live stream but it will be recorded for later, regardless, either/or … Weather permitting; location/date could change - standby via RSVP to stay in!
