Funny how the universe sets the stage before you even realize you’re rehearsing.

I walked into a dollar store like any other day, pockets light but ideas loud. He was the manager behind the counter, and somehow a quick checkout turned into a real conversation. We started chit-chatting about art, community projects, and the mission of normalizing Universalism through my 501c3 work. What should’ve been a passing moment turned into an ongoing exchange of creativity, encouragement, and shared belief in good energy.

Over time those small talks built trust, laughter, and mutual respect. Then one day he surprised me and asked if I’d feature perform for his birthday celebration. No hesitation. I knew the moment deserved something original, something that carried the spirit of why we connected in the first place.
